These are sealed, public, timestamped forecasts that landed — and that we deliberately keep OFF the graded Brier corpus, with the reason stated in the open. Scoring them would move the Brier in our favour; almost any other forecaster would bank them without a second thought. We decline the points on purpose: the timestamp is the evidence, and refusing to cash it is the integrity. This page is also the answer to the charge that the exclusion list hides anything — the strongest excluded call is surfaced here, in full, under its own URL.
SpaceX / Elon Musk — a three-day misfortune window, named eleven weeks early
Sealed publicly on 19 March 2025: keep an eye on June 2025, especially between June 8 and 10, for impending misfortunes with SpaceX — explicitly distinct from Tesla. The headline cluster broke June 5–7 2025, days ahead of the named window: the Trump–Musk alliance ruptured in public, President Trump floated cancelling SpaceX's federal contracts, Musk posted then deleted that SpaceX would begin decommissioning its Dragon spacecraft immediately, and SpaceX's valuation was reported as likely cut roughly in half. On 19 March, Musk and the President were still close allies — the call ran against all available information, with a field of zero other forecasters. This is where the Barnum charge breaks: a named three-day window, fixed eleven weeks out, on one named company, in a stated adverse direction, is fully falsifiable. We still do not Brier-score it — no probability was committed at seal time, and the word "misfortunes" carries latitude we will not import into a mechanical ledger. NYC Mayor (IA-NYC-001) — Zohran Mamdani called to win, sealed a week out
A single binary call on the NYC mayoral race, sealed ~7 days before the result named Mamdani the winner. UNGRADED by choice — and for the opposite reason to most exclusions: this one ran WITH the consensus. Mamdani was the heavy polling favourite, so the call carried no against-consensus edge; it is surfaced for honesty, never banked as a moat. The record drops its own flattering consensus-aligned wins precisely so the score reflects only the hard calls.
Turkey 2023 (IA-TR-2023) — wrong winner, right almost everything else, cast and published the same day
An 8-part Praśna thread sealed the same day (English and Turkish). The headline winner call MISSED — but the runoff structure (49.94%), the March-2024 AKP municipal rout named ~10 months early, the integrity / vote-monitoring cyberattack flag (NetBlocks-confirmed), the puppet allegations and world-worst inflation all landed. UNGRADED: the headline miss dominates an honest first read, and the secondary cluster is reported as rarity-of-specifics, not a staked probability.
US 2020 election (IA-US20-001) — the founding miss, conceded in full
Three named institutional outcomes — SCOTUS takes an election-merits case, rules for Trump, confirmation by early January — each with a dated sub-window. Every court challenge was rejected and Biden was inaugurated: this call MISSED, conceded and un-scrubbed. Surfaced because even the record's misses were specific and falsifiable; the a-priori specificity of the sealed claim is a property of the wording, never a validation of the call.
The Dalai Lama's transition (IA-DL-2025) — a dated reading, excluded on ethics
A bold, dated, falsifiable reading naming four windows across 2026–2027 for a geopolitically consequential succession, sealed against His Holiness's own stated hope to live past 130. ONGOING and held UNGRADED on ETHICS, not falsifiability: the record will not render the transition of a named, living, revered person into a Brier decimal. Offered with reverence; it is the a-priori specificity of naming the windows, never a bet on anyone's life.
